Waterford Macra na Feirme are organising a free family fun day in Colligan Woods on Sunday July 17th @ 12 midday which will encompass of a Murder Mystery Trail through the woods and a Teddy Bears Picnic amongst other things. An easy to follow route will take you around the woods, where, in your own time you must work through the clues to solve the mystery and reveal the murderer, the motive and many other puzzling riddles. There are clues suitable for both adults and children, therefore families are asked to complete the trail together.

Coupled with this, and to appeal to everyone, we are hosting a Teddy Bear’s Picnic where everyone young and old alike can bring along their teddy bears and blankets and enjoy a relaxing picnic in the woods, and who knows maybe some ‘real’ bears might come and join us for a sandwich. The teddy bears picnic will feature a first aid centre for minor repairs and health checks to give ailing Teddy Bears a clean bill of health. There will also be face painting, duck races and games for all ages such as ‘splat the rat’. Both these events are free but please remember to bring your own picnic.

We have arranged for an ice-cream van to drop by on the day.
